Chest infection,cant get rid of it?

ive had it for about ten days now i went to the doctor last week he said ive got bronchitis,gice me antbiotics,said it should clear up in a few days,that was last wed,i still cant stop coughing im so fed up feel really weak.and got no appetite,is it normal to take this long to clear up?thanks for answers
