Why are Christians considered the ones who are bigots?

Not that being indifferent to a lifestyle is a bad thing Christians tend to make their intolerance public..Then it doesn't help with things like "you'rel going to hell" are said..Telling someone they are going hell and like tell someone to go to hell..Therefore in a world rapidly pushing the Gay agenda Christians without strategy or forethought make themselves targets.. Simply not agreeing with the lifestyle is enough..Christians like to go overboard sometimes.
