One year old having trouble getting to sleep....?

Maybe it is teathing. Let her cry it out when you put her down at nigh for a few minutes, then go check on her. Wait a few minutes longer then go check again. Don't hand her her paci or toy though. She will depend on you to come in and rescue her. She will learn how to self sooth. If this carries on for too long then pick her up and comfort her. My daughter at about 1 year old used to make her self poop so I would have to pick her up and change her. Smart Kid! Now she is 16 months and sleeps great.
